Amelia was raised on a hay farm near Olds, AB. While completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia she worked in Edmonton as a summer student for the CFIA where she completed work in entomology before being trained as a Licensed Seed Crop Inspector. She began inspecting with AgCall in 2014 and is now involved with AgCall year-round inspecting as well as helping to manage and coordinate the CropInspect business. She looks forward to getting back out into the fields this summer!
John has 15 years of primary production experience with a wide range of crops including wheat, peas, chickpeas, canola and potatoes. In addition, he has also done customer service dealing solving a variety of problems in regards to drying and storage management of grains and oilseeds.
Monique graduated from the University of Lethbridge, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She gained an appreciation and a base knowledge of agriculture, not only through her education but, by working for Agriculture and Agri-food Canada in Lethbridge for three years. Because of this love for agriculture, she became certified by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to work as a Licensed Seed Crop Inspector for AgCall CropInspect. She looks forward to working closely with growers in Southern Alberta and would like to continue her education through the Alberta Institute of Agrologists.
Alex (BSc/BEd) has worked in diverse agricultural services in Lethbridge and is currently involved in winter wheat breeding and genetics. He is certified by CFIA to inspect forages, cereals, pulses and specialty crops. When not in the field, he spends time with family and friends, kayaking, swimming and camping. He looks forward to working with growers in Southern Alberta as part of the AgCall CropInspect team during this transition.
