Gord Butcher, CEO
Raised and educated in agriculture, followed by a 14 year apprenticeship in the
crop protection industry, Gordon has developed many connections and relationships
throughout Canada and U.S.A. He knows and understands our clients' customers – primarily
the farmers, and how the farmer wants to do business.
Gordon's entrepreneurial drive attracted him to develop the AgCall project outsourcing,
data services and social marketing solutions to connect with and influence farmers
in person, on the phone and, more recently, online.
Gordon is responsible for leading the strategic direction and operations of the
Ed Mazurkewich, Business Development Consultant
Ed Mazurkewich grew up on a farm in the Peace Country of Alberta and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the University of Alberta. He then returned to the farm on a full time basis for a few years which was a prelude to a career in the agriculture industry.
As a Business Development Consultant to AgCall, Ed interacts with industry professionals at all levels and is excited about the value and results the company delivers to clients. Ed is married and has two sons. When not at work, Ed enjoys sports, photography and being involved locally with his boys' sports activities and organizations, including hockey and baseball.
Barrie Manikel, Business Development Consultant
Born and raised on a farm, Barrie Manikel found the agriculture industry a natural choice for him. In college, he majored in Ag Economics.
Barrie has remained active in the crop protection industry throughout his career, in both representative and marketing roles. Despite a broad range of roles, Barrie has always maintained his connection to the farm.
He and his wife have two daughters and two sons, as well as three grandsons who keep them busy. Outside of work, Barrie enjoys doing yard work, gardening, woodworking, photography, curling, and spending time at his cottage or by the river along his farmland.
